Jeg er frivillig i Early Warning, hvor vi - gratis - hjælper små og mellemstore virksomheder, der går mindre godt. Organisationen ligger under Ervervsstyrelsen, og du kan finde Early Warning på et af landets Væksthuse.


Desværre er der en del, der først kommer, når kun konkursen er tilbage. Mange flere burde bruge os, og bruge os EARLY - på det tidspunkt, hvor man kan se, at det begynder at gå skævt, men hvor det endnu kan rettes op

Early Warning hjalp mig igennem

 

Jeg kontaktede Early Warning i efteråret 2019, hvor min virksomhed efter mange års succes var begyndt at vise vigende omsætning og dermed indtjening.

 

Min første kontakt var Peter Bausager, der var meget imødekommende og tydeligvis kende til branchens udfordringer, så jeg allerede der fik en vist tryghed ved organisationen Early Warning”.

 

Efterfølgende fik jeg så besøg af Peter Bausager samt Michael Ruge og Mette Frosch-Hansen, der arbejder som frivillige for organisationen. Det virkede som et godt team, da Mette var meget direkte på tallene og Michael angreb problemstillingen mere overordnet.

 

Når jeg ser tilbage, er jeg specielt glad for den dialog, jeg i starten havde med Michael, der forsøgte at finde ud af, hvor det egentlige problem lå. Jeg var simpelthen kørt ned af de mange udfordringer og tilbud på ting, som gav meget lidt avance og meget stort arbejde og ofte ikke engang blev efterfulgt af et salg. Hvis Early Warning blot havde fokuseret på at få min omsætning og indtjening op at stå igen, tror jeg det var gået galt, men konklusionen var, at jeg skulle forsøge at sælge virksomheden, og finde mig et nyt job.

 

Vi opsatte nogle frister, og da de var nået uden, at der havde meldt sig en potentiel køber, satte vi simultant gang i at sælge aktiverne og finde et nyt job til mig og min trofaste medarbejder. Bortset fra et par bump på vejen, specielt med udlejer, som Early Warning også hjalp mig med, lykkedes det til den aftalte frist for denne fase at afhænde den reducerede virksomhed til en kollega i branchen, der samtidig havde lyst til at ansætte både mig og min medarbejder til at drive aktiviteterne videre. Og alle kreditorer fik deres penge!

 

Jeg kan kun anbefale, at man henvender sig til Early Warning, hvis man kan se tegnene på, at det er ved at gå galt. Der er ingen skam i det, og hvis man venter til det er gået helt galt, har de ikke de store chancer for at sikre en lykkelig afslutning, som det blev for mig.

Tonny Holm Jensen, a former restaurateur, helped me focus on business strategies from pricing, sales, and everything in between. He was honest with his opinions and on point with his suggestions. I felt truly fortunate to have a sparring partner, whose experience was way above me. I gained so much confidence working with him and thankful, how he would be a call away when I needed help.

 

After 8 months of working with them, I can say that the partnership with Early Warning with both Michael and Tonny, had been my biggest blessing so far. I was able to pay off a debt of around 600.000 kr. and get off the list of getting foreclosed. Now the company’s economy is slowly getting into a stable condition, where it is profitable and looking into venturing new ways of scaling up.

 

I am profoundly grateful I’ve reached out to Early Warning. I would recommend everybody who is having difficulties sorting out their businesses, go and get the help they might need as early as possible. There is no shame, only gain.
